    MBTI Prediction For Sales

    I created a tool to predict Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI) personality types, to help salespeople craft customized pitches to increase closing rates by 10%.

     

    My goal was to help salespeople and entrepreneurs who have awesome products but face difficulty selling with standardized pitches. I implemented this using R for pre-processing and Python for machine learning.

     

    I learned how to model a problem using data science, and to balance between theoretical and practical concerns while running a technical project. (Github)

    Web Analytics For Landing Pages

    I spearheaded a data science initiative to track my agency's landing pages to better optimize our conversion rates. My goal was to eventually bring these insights to our clients.

     

    Using a combination of heat maps and web analytics tools, I was able to identify where our visitors dropped off and propose countermeasures by repositioning elements and adding visual cues to guide visitors.

     

    I did this to learn more about marketing analytics and explore how such data can improve a business' bottom line.

    Android App Store Classifier

    This classifier uses app store text reviews to predict which app category the review belonged to.

     

    I learned how to separate insight from noise by evaluating multiple metrics from different angles.

     

    This project was implemented in R, and my ensemble model attained an accuracy of 0.61. (GitHub)

    Coca-Cola Text Analytics

    We conducted sentiment analysis on Coca-Cola's twitter and youtube data using R and Python.

     

    I learned how to mine data from APIs and aggregate data across multiple sources to visualise the bigger picture.

     

    We then provided recommendations for Coca-Cola to improve its position in the Singapore market. (Github)

    "In a startup environment, every team member matters a great deal. One bad/un- productive/non-communicative person can really hurt the team and waste a lot of time.

     

    Given Tony’s age, I was initially suspect about what we would be able to accomplish together. My primary hesitation was that we were putting a lot of responsibility in the hands of someone who was young and unproven.

     

    However, upon meeting with Tony, I immediately realized that I was incorrect in my initial hesitation. During our first meeting, he asked all the right questions.
